Brahmin Mahakumbh to be organised on October 2

Staff Reporter Raipur 20 Sept. - BRAHMIN Mahakumbh is to be organised under the aegis go Samagra Brahmin Prantiya Mahasabha (SBPM)] Chhattisgarh at Netaji Subhash Stadium, Raipur on October 2.

As the first step towards resorting social harmony in the State, thereby strengthening the unity among its people and to stir the feeling of nationality the said Mahakumbh is to be organised. State Assembly Deputy Speaker Badridhar Diwan is one of the patrons of SBPM. Former Chairman of the State Finance Commision, Virendra Pandey is the President.

Briefing on the objectives of SBPM, President Virendra Pandey pointed out press conference on Saturday that the State has not attained that place where it should have been after eight years of separate statehood.
